This years Winner “How to be both” is split into two stories, called ‘Eyes’ and ‘Camera’.’Eyes’ is told by an artist Francesco del Cossa and is about seeing and showing what you see, its about life and art. The artist also manages to observe a a second female character who has looked at the picture of St. Vincent of Ferrara or St. Vincent Ferrer in the National Gallery. The second girl (referenced in ‘Eyes’ is called George or Georgia, she tells her story in ‘Camera’ and imagines the life of the Francesco del Cossa. This one was a bit too creative/incentive for me, but I have never read anything quite like this before, a true original? You can be the judge, pick it up and give it a read

Congratulations again to Ali Smith!, i look forward to reading more of your work in the future!

Untill next time, read more books!…
